Hi, I’m Chris, an award-winning New Zealand creative, design director and photographer. For the past 30 years I’ve honed my craft within our design and brand studio, bringing ideas to life for local and international brands. But it’s outside the commercial boundaries that I get to explore my passion for photography and a shared love for adventure with my travel buddy and wife Jo. 

For us, travel isn’t about the destination, it’s the journey, where places and people inspire and enrich us, as we seek to understand different cultures, their history (and food). Travel opens the eyes and heart. It allows us the space to recharge, to explore, to experience and see the world differently, to grow and form a deeper and new found appreciation for places beyond home. 

My passion for photography has inspired and shaped our adventures. Often those places are off the beaten track or at times a little challenging to get to, places where you find the real beauty, the wonder or solitude. But it’s Jo meticulous plotting and planning of every step, route, plane, train and automobile that ensures we immerse ourselves in every aspect of the journey.

From Australasia to the Americas, Europe and the Middle East, our travels have taken us to many beautiful and crazy parts of our planet, and now we hope to share some of these special places and moments with you. These are our untold stories. Hopefully you enjoy and they serve to inspire your own adventures.
